HEY EVERYBODY! Here's the info on the CD Release Concert next Friday. For the price of a boring ol' movie-that-you-can-see-anytime, you can do something oh-so-much-more-once-in-a-lifetime, and creative, and different, and real!

ABOUT THE SHOW:

"Skye launches her E.P. with a bit of a twist: breaking with traditional concert format, her new show is a venture into performance art, implementing audience engagement, visual art, story telling, and weaving the music into a whole "piece" or “story” rather than the typical list-of-songs style performance." Skip Vonkuske (cellist, often seen playing with Skye, also of The Vagabond Opera and The Lorca Project)
Courtney Atack (singer and songwriter, voice instructor, formerly of Sibling Revelry)
Kyrstyn Pixton (musician, dancer, percussionist, also of local favorite March Fourth and the S.F. based OnePeopleVoice troupe)
Bryce Pixton (dreamboat bassist, from the early days of the Skye Pixton Band)

ABOUT THE CD:

“Love, Lies & Skye – the CD - includes a stream of Skye’s never-before released award-winning songs. “Hold On” recently won the Portland Songwriter’s Association's International Song Contest, as “Best Song” in the category of Folk and as the “Best Overall Song” grand prize winner across all genres. Skye also won this contest in 2004 for the category of Folk with her song “Away From You,” also on the album. Three other songs on the album – “Weight of the World,” “Baby Love,” and “Don’t Be Runnin” - were runners-up in various categories in 2004." (see press release)

Concert Admission Only: if you don't want the CD or want to wait before you buy. $8 Advance.
